- Monitoring and investigating cyber frauds, financial scams, online harassment, and identity theft.
- Handling cases of hacking, phishing, social media crimes, and digital blackmail.
- Running Cybercrime Help Desks at district HQs and Cyber Cells for technical forensics.
- Educating public on cyber hygiene and digital safety practices.
- Collaborating with CERT-In and Cyber Swachhta Kendra for threat mitigation.

- Operating SHE Teams and Mahila Police units for rapid response to crimes against women.
- Providing legal aid, emotional support, and protection in domestic violence and harassment cases.
- Rescuing minors from trafficking, child labor, and abusive environments under JJ Act and POCSO Act.
- Spreading awareness on women's rights and child protection laws in schools and communities.
π¨ Traffic & Public Safety
- Enforcing traffic laws, managing signals, preventing accidents, and ensuring smooth flow.
- Conducting road safety awareness programs in schools and colleges.
- Using CCTV surveillance and smart traffic systems in major urban centers.
- Assisting during festivals, protests, and VIP movements to maintain public safety.
π€ Community Policing & Outreach
- Promoting trust-building initiatives like "Know Your Police" and beat-level meetings.
- Encouraging citizens to report crimes via helplines, apps, and local stations.
- Monitoring anti-social activities and providing local intelligence for early crime prevention.
- Supporting vulnerable communities through counseling, legal aid camps, and partnerships with NGOs.
π Administrative & Special Duties
- Maintaining police station records, criminal databases, and reporting systems (CCTNS).
- Supervising police staff performance, discipline, and training activities.
- Handling disaster response, crowd control, election duties, and emergency preparedness.
- Implementing state and central government security directives.
